Dr..Klein limited his practice in 1994 after a motor vehicle accident that caused herniated discs in his back and neck. He learned about pain and its various necessary treatments by being a pain patient for several years. That experience was influential in helping him pass the necessary requirements and tests to become Board Certified as a Diplomat in the American Academy of Pain Management.
